Out of all those in the room she chose me.
She gave me a name, an identity, helped me become the man I am today and for that I am eternally grateful.
She was a kind and gentle woman who loved to laugh, loved to dance, sing, whistle...loved life really.
Not many words for a woman so great, but that's the way she would have wanted it-without much fuss.
Today she would be unhappy if there were tears. She would want a celebration of her memory, laughter at all the good times and a smile for one who had a caring and giving heart then any I've ever known.
To more than just me she was Mum and she will be missed.
Today we still smile, but we laugh a little less, dance a little slower, and somehow the song does not seem so sweet.
There is a void that time must now heal.
Goodbye Mother.
With much love your foot print will always remain and your legacy will continue to shine in the man that is your son.

So sorry for your loss, but that was a sweet little something to honor her & I'm sure she appreciated it & is smiling down on you now & always. :)
